Ordered a Tofu Panang Curry along with Thai Tea. Flavors were great!! Will definitely be going back to try out other items on their menu.

Don’t miss this fabulous thai food truck serving fresh fish (eg king salmon, cod) and blue rice (colored with a water infused with blue flowers) and carrot flowers. The papaya salad was also really great! What a find!
Opposite the library and convention center (where the ferry shuttle drops you off).

Not only is there a great story behind the creation of this place but the owners are a pleasure and make you feel extremely welcome! The food is delicious, the blue coconut curry rice and tea are something I have never seen and makes the presentation super unique. A must stop when in Sitka!

Thai Alaska Kitchen serves some of the best Thai food I’ve had in Alaska. The panaang curry was incredibly flavorful—I could have happily finished a whole bowl on its own. The butterfly pea flower rice not only looks beautiful but adds something special to the meal. Everything is clearly made with love and attention to detail. Highly recommend checking them out!

this food truck is hands down one of my boyfriend and i’s favorite spots. the food is always fresh, super flavorful, and consistently delicious—especially the Panang chicken, which i get every time (it’s that good).
the people running the truck are incredibly kind and welcoming. every time we go, they make us feel like part of the family. the service is fast, friendly, and just makes the whole experience even better.
the outdoor seating area is also a huge plus—relaxed, clean, and a great place to enjoy your food. if you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out!

Great food! Great service!
I haven't had anything that wasn't amazing here. Pad Thai, Panang Chicken, Pineapple Curry shrimp, all amazing! The service is prompt and always accurate. Definitely recommend this place whether you are just visiting Sitka, or are a resident.

Sitka is a small town with, surprisingly, a lot of food trucks. We chose Thai Alaska Kitchen as it gave that Asian twist to favorite Alaskan ingredients. And it works! We had the Panang Halibut, Panang Salmon, King Crab Spring rolls, and Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. Everything was heavenly. I ordered the halibut as spicy, but it just gave a little kick. I should've asked for extra spicy. Yes, the prices were a bit high, but it is Alaska, and the flavors and fresh ingredients made it all worth it.

While in Sitka, we tried Thai Alaska kitchen food truck. We tried the tofu pad Thai and black cod egg roll. Both were delicious. The Pad Thai was a generous serving. They also have a few tables and chairs for their customers to dine at. Highly recommend this place.

Can't make it to Thailand? No problem, Thailand will come to you! I will echo what many people have already said - this is the best Thai food I have ever had!! I was only in Sitka for a day working and am so glad I got lunch here. The food is amazing and the owner is super friendly. My only regret is that I'm not staying longer to try more of their delicious food. Run, don't walk to the Thai Alaska Kitchen when you are in Sitka!

Absolutely incredible! This authentic Thai place is hands-down my favorite hidden gem. Every dish bursts with real, balanced flavor — fresh herbs, rich sauces, and just the right amount of heat. You can taste the care and tradition in every bite.
The people behind it are just as special as the food — warm, welcoming, and clearly proud of what they make. It feels like eating at a friend’s home in Thailand rather than dining out. The portions are generous, the presentation is beautiful, and the consistency is unmatched.
If you ever get the chance to eat here, don’t hesitate — go! It’s one of those meals that reminds you what real food made with love tastes like.
